Financial Literacy

At FNCB Bank, we believe that basic financial literacy is the foundation for the long-term success of our communities. Teaching children and young adults about money and finances is the first step in ensuring financially responsible and aware adults. Through a variety of programs, FNCB strives to give area students the building blocks for a lifetime of financial success.

Teach Children to Save

Our team of education ambassadors present savings lessons at elementary and middle schools across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Discussion topics vary by age/grade level, all focusing on the importance of responsible money management. For more information or to schedule a presentation for your school, please contact the Marketing Department at 1-877-TRY-FNCB or via e-mail at marketing@fncb.com.

Get Smart About Credit

Geared toward high school students, FNCB Bank’s Get Smart About Credit program teaches young adults how to budget, manage a credit card, read a credit report, protect personal financial information and recognize the signs of overspending. These need-to-know facts are critically important for anyone using credit for the first time. For more information or to schedule a presentation for your school, please contact the Marketing Department at 1-877-TRY-FNCB or via e-mail at marketing@fncb.com.
