First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, today announced several staff promotions.
Joseph A. Castrogiovanni, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Manager Joseph A. Castrogiovanni has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Manager where he is responsible for developing new business and managing a group of lenders in the Lackawanna County market area.
He started his career with FNCB in 1992 as a member of the Finance Department before joining the Commercial Lending Department in 2006.
Mr. Castrogiovanni is a graduate of Dunmore High School and Bloomsburg University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He received a Masters in Finance from Marywood University. He is also a graduate of the ABA Graduate Commercial Lending School.
He is a member of the North Pocono Minisink Lions Club and volunteers for the North Pocono Cal Ripken Baseball League and Jefferson Township Basketball. He resides in Moscow with his wife Judy and children Brian and Jason.
Donna M Czerw, Senior Vice President, Retail Operations Manager Donna M. Czerw has been promoted to Senior Vice President, where she supervises the community banking operational functions for 21 branch locations and the Retail Training Department.
Prior to joining FNCB in 1988, she held positions with Third National Bank, Midlantic Bank and Franklin First Savings Bank.
Ms. Czerw received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters in Finance from the University of Scranton. She is a certified fraud examiner; as well as a certified bank auditor, trust auditor and financial services auditor.
She is an active volunteer with the American Heart Association and resides in Moosic, PA.
Kendrick C. Smith, CFA, Senior Vice President, Treasury Officer Kendrick C. Smith, CFA has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Treasury Officer where he is responsible for overseeing the treasury operations and investments of FNCB, implementing strategies to increase capital, establishing financial goals and executing money managing activities.
Prior to joining FNCB in 2011, he was the President of TR2 Advisors, a company that provided financial institutions with education and solutions to improve results from ALM, liquidity management, credit risk management, operational efficiency and strategic planning.
Mr. Smith majored in accounting and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. He received a Masters in Business Administration from Nova SouthEastern University. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1995.
Kendrick and his wife Kim have two children; Ryan and Shane. He currently resides in Dunmore.
