More than 320 yards of fabric used to help raise
First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern
Pennsylvania, has just completed a pink transformation of their Scranton branch
in honor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure being held tomorrow in downtown
The Scranton branch, located at 419 Spruce St, has been decorated with four 30'
pink ribbons as well as a new pink 4' x 20' FNCB building sign. (Please see
"The goal of decorating our Scranton location is to help raise awareness for the
Komen Foundation and their goal of raising funds for local community breast
health and breast cancer education, screening and treatment grants," said Vice
President/ Retail Operations Manager Donna Czerw. "We encourage those
participating in the race Saturday morning to stop by and see the decorations.
It's a great spot to have your picture taken."
