Donation will help provide scholarships for eligible families
First National Community Bank (FNCB), locally-based for over 100 years, today announced a $950 donation to the Immanuel Christian School in Hazleton as part of its $181,000 Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) commitment for 2013. The donation will help provide tuition assistance to K-12 students at the non-profit school.
"We actively support many community organizations in the Hazelton Area,” said Christine Gresh, FNCB Assistant Vice President, Regional Manager. "This donation will help area students attend Immanuel Christian, regardless of financial status."
The support of the Immanuel Christian School is part of FNCB's larger Community Caring initiative. As a true, local community bank, FNCB is making a difference through volunteerism, donations and outreach programs.
