Donation provides scholarships for early childhood education
First National Community Bank (FNCB), a Northeastern Pennsylvania community bank leader, today announced a $2000 donation to King’s College as part of its $181,000 Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) commitment for 2013.
The donation will be used to fund scholarships for children enrolled in the King’s College Early Learning Center.
"Providing high-quality early childhood education to all families is vital to the long-term success and growth of our community," said Joseph Earyes, FNCB Chief Retail Banking & Operations Officer. "Our support of the Early Learning Center at Kings will help ensure many children receive a great start to their education."
The support of King's College Early Learning Center is part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. As a true, local community bank, FNCB is making a difference through volunteerism, donations and outreach programs.
