Donation will help purchase food and other essential items
First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, today announced a donation to the Wayne County Food Pantry to help purchase food and other essential items for Wayne County residents in need.
The Wayne County Pantry Program has locations in Honesdale, Lakeville, Newfoundland and Damascus and is currently assisting over 600 households each month.
"Part of our mission as a local bank is to support organizations that make our community a better place to live and work," said Ellen Pritchard, FNCB Honesdale Community Office Manager.
"We volunteer our time and money to help organizations like the Wayne County Food Pantry meet the needs of those less fortunate. It's
more than just writing a check, we consider ourselves partners in their mission
of supplying nutritious items to those in need."
