Donation will help Food 4 Kids Summer Program
First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, today announced a $1,000 donation to the CEO/Weinberg Food Bank's Food 4 Kids Summer Program.
The program serves thousands of meals and nutritious snacks to children at parks, playgrounds, libraries and other places at-risk children gather in the summer. The summer program is one piece of CEO's larger Food 4 Kids program that seeks out children in need - where they live, learn and play and provides them with nutritional support all year.
The Food Bank serves four counties in Northeast Pennsylvania: Luzerne, Lackawanna, Susquehanna, and Wyoming.
"CEO and the Food 4 Kids program provide a much needed service to the youngest members of our community," said Lucy Singer, FNCB Assistant Vice President, Group Manager. "We are proud to support their work and encourage others to do the same."
The support of the Food 4 Kids Summer Program represents part of a larger Community Caring initiative by FNCB. Through outreach programs, donations and an employee volunteer network, FNCB is committed to helping the communities they serve.
Founded in 1910, FNCB supports its mission: Simply a better bank(tm) with an endless commitment to the communities we serve. With 21 branches throughout Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe and Wayne counties, FNCB is the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania leading the way in personal, small business and commercial banking solutions.
