Linda Matylewicz awarded Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation
First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce Linda Matylewicz, Assistant Cashier/Employment Coordinator, was recently awarded the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
The PHR designation is awarded to individuals who demonstrate expertise in the field of Human Resources and pass a comprehensive exam.
The HR Certification Institute (HRCI), established in 1976, is an internationally recognized certifying organization for the human resource profession. Today, more than 120,000 HR professionals worldwide maintain the HR Certification Institute's credentials as a mark of high professional distinction.
"Earning the PHR certification takes considerable study and it is a measure of professionalism in the HR discipline," said Senior Vice President, Human Resources Officer Donald Ryan. "All of us in Human Resources are extremely proud of Linda's accomplishment."
Ms. Matylewicz has been with FNCB for 28 years, including more than 25 years in the Human Resources Department. In her current role, she is responsible for recruitment and staffing for the 350 member workforce.
She is a graduate of Mid Valley High School and the University of Scranton where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. She currently resides in Dickson City.
