Bank Collecting Items to be sold at festival July 27-29
First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, is participating in a donation program for the Saint Joseph’s Center Summer Festival.
Branches in Scranton, Dunmore, Dickson City, Clarks Green, Daleville and Pittston are collecting new books, kitchen, bath and entertainment items that will be sold at The Marketplace Stand during the Summer Festival held July 27-29 on the grounds of Marywood University.
The festival, which is in its 51st year, has been called the “biggest backyard picnic in Northeastern Pennsylvania” and raises funds for many important programs at Saint Joseph’s Center.
“Saint Joseph’s Center is a tremendous asset to our community and First National Community Bank is proud to be a partner in the annual festival,” said Senior Vice President Donna Czerw. “We have participated in the collection program for many years and the response from our customers and employees has been tremendous.”
Donations are being accepted at participating branches until July 6.
The support of Saint Joseph’s Center represents part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. Through outreach programs, donations and an employee volunteer network, FNCB is committed to helping the communities they serve.
