First National Community Bank, the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, today announced several staff promotions.
James M. Bone Jr., CPA, Executive Vice President, Information Technology & Operations
James M. Bone Jr., CPA has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Information Technology & Operations.
A 1983 graduate of Kings College with degrees in Information Systems and Accounting, Mr. Bone joined FNCB in 1986 and has held numerous positions including Internal Auditor, Loan Administration/Compliance Division Manager, Commercial Lender, Branch Administrator and Administrative Services Division Manager.
Mr. Bone is active in several community organizations including the Kings College Golf Committee, Kings College Century Club Executive Committee, Kings College Annual Fund Campaign and Cantolao USA Soccer coach. In 2010, he received the Robert J. Ell Alumni Award for outstanding service to his alma mater Kings College.
He is the son of James Bone Sr. and the late Rosalie Bone and currently resides in Exeter with his wife Mary, and four daughters.
David D. Keim, Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
David D. Keim recently became Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer and is responsible for credit and loan administration, loan review and asset recovery.
Prior to joining FNCB, Mr. Keim served as Chief Risk Officer for Heartland Financial, where he held the responsibility of developing an enterprise risk management process for the institution which has 10 banks in eight states. He also oversaw the audit, compliance and loan review functions. He also worked for Susquehanna Bancshares most recently as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, where he was responsible for commercial credit portfolio management and guiding and directing the integration of merger-related loan activities.
Mr. Keim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Drexel University and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
He is a member of the Risk Management Association (RMA) and the RMA Credit Risk Counsel, and he is also a long-serving advisory committee member for the BAI National Loan Review Conference. From 2005 - 2007, Keim served on the RMA Operational Risk Counsel.
Joseph J. Earyes, CPA, First Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Officer
Joseph J. Earyes, CPA has been promoted to First Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Officer
Mr. Earyes is responsible for Branch Administration, Marketing, FNCB’s Customer Care Center, Bank Card Services and Workplace Banking. He joined First National Community Bank as Senior Vice President/Branch Administrator in 2008. Prior to FNCB, he held various executive management positions in public accounting and community banking in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Earyes has over 30 years of corporate finance and public accounting experience, including five years with a former ‘Big 8’ public accounting firm, 13 years with a large regional public accounting firm, and 10 years of community banking experience.
Mr. Earyes graduated from King’s College with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration and has been credited with several master courses from Villanova University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants.
He is active in several community organizations, including the American Heart Association, American Red Cross and St. John Neumann Parish.
Mr. Earyes is a resident of Scranton and together with his wife Susan, they have four children.
Lisa L. Kinney, Senior Vice President, Retail Lending Officer
Lisa L. Kinney has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Retail Lending Officer.
Ms. Kinney oversees the Indirect Lending, Consumer Lending and Residential Mortgage departments at FNCB.
After getting her start in the banking world with the Third National Bank & Trust Company, Ms. Kinney joined First National Community Bank in 1994 as an Indirect Lending Representative. Three years later she was promoted to Assistant Cashier and then Vice President in 2007.
Ms. Kinney attended the Pennsylvania State University and has completed numerous courses with the American Banking Institute.
She is a current member and Past President of the Dunmore Lions Club and resides in Clarks Summit with her son and daughter.
