Employees from First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, recently spent the day at Luzerne County Head Start in Wilkes-Barre as part of the United Way of Wyoming Valley's 21st annual Day of Caring.
The Community Caring Team from FNCB completed several maintenance projects and assisted teachers in classroom activities.
"It was a wonderful and rewarding day," said Business Development Officer Lois Miller. "By volunteering at organizations like Head Start we hope to make a positive difference in our community."
The support of the United Way of Wyoming Valley and Luzerne County Head Start represents part of FNCB's larger Community Caring initiative. Through outreach programs, donations and an employee volunteer network, FNCB is committed to helping the communities they serve.
