JoAnn Kotlowski earmarks grant for Wilkes-Barre soup kitchen
First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, announced today a $250 donation to St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen as part of the Community Caring employee volunteer program.
Through the FNCB Community Caring Program, employees who volunteer in the community can qualify for grants for their favorite non-profit organization. JoAnn Kotlowski, community office manager at FNCB's Hanover Township branch, selected the Wilkes-Barre kitchen, an organization she also volunteers at.
"St. Vincent de Paul Kitchen responds to the needs of poverty and hunger in the Wyoming Valley," said Kotlowski. "FNCB is proud to help their efforts through volunteer hours and donations."
The support of St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen represents part of FNCB's larger Community Caring initiative. Through outreach programs, donations, and an employee volunteer network, FNCB is committed to helping the communities they serve.
Founded in 1910, FNCB supports its mission: Simply a better bank(tm) with an endless commitment to the communities they serve. With 21 branches throughout Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, and Wayne counties, FNCB is the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania leading the way in personal, small business and commercial banking solutions.
