Employee volunteers help beautify Salvation Army Kirby Family House
Employees from First National Community Bank (FNCB), the largest community bank in Northeastern Pennsylvania, recently spent a day at the Salvation Army in Wilkes-Barre as part of the United Way of Wyoming Valley's 20th annual Day of Caring.
The Community Caring Team from FNCB along with other community volunteers assisted the Salvation Army Kirby Family House by planting flowers, trimming trees, pulling weeds and mopping floors among other cleanup efforts.
"When we were done, it was great to stand back and see we made a real difference," said FNCB volunteer Aileen Luklanchuk. "It's wonderful to be able to give back to our community."
The support of the United Way of Wyoming Valley and Salvation Army represents part of FNCB's larger Community Caring initiative. Through outreach programs, donations and an employee volunteer network, FNCB is committed to helping the communities they serve.
Founded in 1910, FNCB supports its mission: Simply a better bank(tm) with an endless commitment to the communities we serve.
