Habitat for Humanity Wayne County Benefits from Dress Down Day

Jeans for a Cause raises funds for a different organization every month

FNCB Bank, locally-based for over 100 years, recently presented representatives from Habitat for Humanity Wayne County with a $738.00 donation raised through a bank wide “Jeans for a Cause” dress down day in June.

Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County helps deserving families become home owners using volunteer labor and donations. The FNCB donation will help build homes for qualified low-income partner families.

“Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County provides an invaluable service in our community and we are happy to play a small part in their mission,” said Ellen Pritchard, FNCB Honesdale Community Office Manager. “It’s a great feeling to know we’re part of something bigger that’s so important to the community.”

The support of Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County is part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. As a true, local community bank, FNCB is making a difference through volunteerism, donations and outreach programs.
