FNCB locally based for over 100 years, today announced the appointment of five new staff members. Added to the FNCB banking team are Jeffrey Mokychic, Treasury Manager; Jason Bohenek, Assistant Vice President, Audit Manager; Justin Shaffern, Commercial Banking Officer, Brooke Liperini, Banking Officer, Human Resources Generalist; and Kimberly Rodriguez, Community Office Manager.
Mokychic, Treasury Manager
Jeffrey Mokychic, Treasury Manager, will be responsible for managing the accounting for the investment portfolio, participating in investment planning to facilitate desired portfolio structure, liquidity monitoring, managing correspondent bank, broker and other funding relationships, coordinating the ALM process and supporting the Bank’s budgeting process and regulatory reporting.
He is a graduate of Dallas Senior High School and the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in actuarial science. He resides in Dallas, PA.
Bohenek, Assistant Vice President, Audit Manager
Jason Bohenek, Assistant Vice President, Audit Manager, will be responsible for performing internal audits, independent audit fieldwork and communicating pertinent findings to management.
Before joining FNCB, he was a Senior Auditor at TMG Health. Mr. Bohenek began his banking career at FNCB in 1999 holding various audit and finance positions.
He is a graduate of Scranton Central High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, and Management from the University of Scranton. He is a current member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and Past President and Governor of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA) Chapter.
He resides in Scranton with his wife Rosemary and sons; Daniel and Jacob.
Shaffern, Commercial Banking Officer
Justin Shaffern, Commercial Banking Officer, will be responsible for expanding existing commercial relationships as well as prospecting new commercial relationships, commercial lines of credit, commercial loans and commercial deposits.
Mr. Shaffern has more than 10 years of experience in banking and finance. Most recently he was the Scranton Branch Manager for ESSA Bank & Trust.
Extremely active in the community, he is a volunteer/team leader for the March of Dimes, participant in the Leadership Lackawanna Core program, board member of the Scranton Rotary, board member/immediate Past President Wyoming Valley Barbershop Harmony Chorus, volunteer & fundraiser Wyoming Valley Children’s Association, and a member of the Unaccounted Four, a barbershop quartet that sings at local nursing homes.
He resides in Dallas, PA with his wife Ashley and daughter Adeline.
Liperini, Banking Officer, Human Resources Generalist
Brooke Liperini, Banking Officer, Human Resources Generalist, will be responsible for recruiting, training, development and employee relations.
Ms. Liperini brings 10 years of human resources experience to FNCB. Prior to joining FNCB, she was Human Resources Manager for Gertrude Hawk Chocolates.
She is a graduate of Honesdale High School and Lackawanna College with an Associate’s degree in Human Services and resides in Olyphant with sons Daniel and Ethan.
Rodriguez, Community Office Manager
Kimberly Rodriguez, Community Office Manager, will be responsible for the daily operation, overall business development and growth of the Dickson City branch.
Ms. Rodriguez brings more than 25 years of experience in banking and investment services to FNCB. Prior to joining FNCB, she was a manager and a Financial Consultant at Citizens Bank and owned a State Farm Insurance Agency.
She is a graduate of Scranton Central High School and Lackawanna College with an Associate’s degree in Banking and Finance. She resides in Scranton.
