First National Community Bank (FNCB), locally-based for over 100 years, today announced a $500 donation to Honesdale Communities That Care through the PA Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Since 2010, FNCB has contributed over $1,000,000 to local educational and scholarship organizations through the program.
Honesdale Communities That Care is a program that focuses on providing a supervised, safe, social and learning after-school environment for children in the greater Honesdale area.
"Honesdale Communities That Care provides a valuable service to students and families in Wayne County," said FNCB Honesdale Community Office Manager Ellen Pritchard. "We are proud to be an annual supporter of their efforts."
