FNCB Supports NEIU CORE Foundation

Funding will help underwrite Arts Alive and Arts Save Programs

First National Community Bank (FNCB), locally-based for over 100 years, today announced a $2,000 donation to the NEIU 19 Creative Opportunities Regarding Education (CORE) Foundation through the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Since 2010, FNCB has contributed over $1,000,000 to local educational and scholarship organizations through the program.

The donation will help the foundation create and enhance educational opportunities for both educators and students in the twenty school districts served by the NEIU.

The support of NEIU is part of FNCB’s larger Community Caring initiative. As a true, local community bank, FNCB is making a difference through volunteerism, donations and outreach programs.
